Terms that keep
things fair.

These terms cover website use, repair services, refurbished-device sales, collection/delivery and business services offered by iPear Tech Repair.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply when you use our website, request a quote, book a repair, buy a device or accessory, arrange collection/delivery, or use our business services. Specific written business agreements take precedence where they differ from these terms.

2. Quotes, prices and approval

Diagnostic checks are provided as described on the relevant service page. A quote is an estimate based on the information and inspection available. We will request your approval before carrying out chargeable work beyond the agreed quote. Prices, availability and repair times may change where hidden faults, parts availability or supplier costs affect the work.

Payment is due when the repair, product or service is ready, unless a written business credit arrangement says otherwise. We may retain a device until all agreed charges are paid, to the extent permitted by law.

3. Repairs and device data

You confirm that you own the device or are authorised to request the service. Back up your device and remove accessories, SIM cards, memory cards and confidential information unless we agree otherwise. Repairs, diagnostics, software updates and data-recovery attempts can result in data loss, and we cannot guarantee that data will be preserved.

We may use compatible or original-quality replacement parts as agreed in your quote. Cosmetic differences, pre-existing faults and issues unrelated to the completed repair are not included unless specified in writing.

4. Repair warranty

Repairs are covered by the warranty period stated in your invoice or service description; the current website states six months for parts and labour. The warranty covers a fault in the installed part or workmanship. It does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised repair, software faults, normal wear, loss of data, or a separate pre-existing device fault.

To make a warranty claim, present your repair receipt and the device promptly. We may inspect the device before deciding whether a repair, replacement or another lawful remedy is appropriate.

5. Refurbished-device sales, returns and refunds

Refurbished devices are graded and tested as described in the listing. Images are illustrative unless stated otherwise. Product warranty duration, included accessories and device condition must be shown on the order confirmation or invoice.

Return, refund and cancellation rights depend on where and how you buy, the product condition and applicable consumer law. A dedicated Returns & Refunds Policy should be published before online checkout is enabled. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer rights.

6. Collection and delivery

Collection and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. You must provide accurate contact and address details and ensure a person authorised to hand over or receive the device is available. Risk transfers as required by applicable law and the agreed service; any visible transit issue should be reported to us promptly with supporting details.

7. Business customers

Business proposals, fleet-management services, export/wholesale supply and service-level arrangements are subject to a written quote, purchase order or agreement. The agreement should set out service scope, pricing, payment terms, delivery, data handling, warranties, service levels and any export/compliance responsibilities.

8. Liability

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss caused by pre-existing defects, inaccurate information, delayed parts supply or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future services by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. The terms accepted when you place an order or approve a repair normally continue to apply to that transaction.
